Peak Literacy provides one to one tutoring to help kids achieve grade-level reading skills so that they have the tools they need to succeed.

According to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, 83% of low-income children can’t read by the end of the third grade.

Our Solution

Each student in our program is paired with a volunteer from the community who has trained to be one of our reading coaches. Our coaches are students, business owners, civil servants, and anyone who is willing to dedicate just 15 minutes a day to giving a kid the feedback and encouragement they need to realize their potential as lifelong readers!
